Description: Private High School for boys and girls. Family accommodation
Programme Includes:
  • Registration, placement, and coordination fees
  • High school tuition fee
  • Accommodation & three meals daily provided by the Canadian family
  • School sports & basic activities
  • Guardianship services
  • ESL course if necessary
  • Transportation within Oakville
  • Optional activities in Oakville, Toronto, Niagara, and other places of interest

Canadian families are carefully selected. Students are not treated as guests; they become part of the family, with the same rights and responsibilities. It is strongly suggested that application forms with academic and personal information be at our office, with much time in advance, to select the most suitable family.

Special Credit Course 1: Catholicism and the History of the Catholic Church, once a week throughout the school year

Special Credit Course 2: EcoAdventure, meeting twice every six day cycle: rivers and lakes; biodiversity and ecozones, Students spend six days in Costa Rica.

Special Credit Course 3: Junior Aviator, meeting twice every six day cycle; aviation, physics, airplane and helicopter design, weather, flight simulation. Students spend six days at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Alabama, USA

Special credit course 04: New Media Filmmaking, meeting once every six day cycle; scriptwriting, video editing and filming, projects, media, and participation at the MacLachlan Film Festival. Students spend six days at the AMC Movie Camp at Universal Studios, Hollywood, California U.S.A.

YPI - Youth and Philanthropy Initiative

The Youth Philantropy Initiative forms part of the Grade 10 Careers Studies course. Students research a social service charity in the community.

Two groups of students are chosen to present to a panel of judges. The YPI finalists participate in the Toskan Foundation’s annual Youth and Philantropy Celebration, which is a day of seminars, entertainment, and the award of $5,000 to the charity of the students’ choice
