Summer Camp

Ages:	Juniors 07 to 15; boys and girls
Location:	Ontario, 4 hours from Toronto
Description:	Camp activities, excursions and sports
This programme features: Accommodation in wooden cabins of 06 campers, with a counsellor All meals at Camp All scheduled activities selected from activity list All equipment, except sleeping bag, pillow, towels, personal items Group airport transfers. Group means 3 campers minimum The Camp offers sessions in periods of seven days or ten days. However, it is possible to enroll at the Camp programme for three or four weeks. Last session of the summer has a duration of six days; reserved for campers aged 13-19, concentrating on basketball & volleyball.

Arrival dates are not flexible; arrival time after 16:00 may mean overnight in Toronto, Oakville, or Mississauga, at an extra charge, with coordinator.

Activities and sports with Canadian children, so as to encourage participants to speak as much English as possible. International campers are usually divided in groups depending on age, gender, and choice of activities, and mixed with Canadian campers if registrations are received well in advance.

There are no English classes. It is suggested that campers have a high beginner or low intermediate level in English. Campers learn and practice the language because they are in contact with Canadian campers.

Campers are busy all day long, from 07:15 until 22:00. Very interesting activities are: Environmental Studies, to learn about plants, animals, and ecological issues; and Out-tripping, a three-day excursion away from the base camp.

The Camp is surrounded by nature, away from urban centers. In order to complement the campers’ stay in Canada, they can register in another programme, so as to combine nature and city life: Toronto, Niagara, ESL in Oakville, Montréal and Québec, or a Toronto & Niagara mini tour, designed by request.
